Halo supports BIFA by sponsoring Best Sound award

Halo are very proud to announce our support for the British Independent Film Awards. Not only are we sponsoring the Best Sound category for this year’s awards, we will also be hosting a number of BIFA calendar events at our Noel Street and Dean Street facilities throughout the year. David Turner, Halo’s Head of Film and Drama, comments “we are very excited about this new affiliation and look forward to assisting BIFA’s support of independent filmmaking in the UK and their encouragement of emerging talent. As an independent post facility, it’s really the perfect partnership for us. UK independent films are very intrinsic to our core business and something we are all extremely enthusiastic about. Our creative team of experienced colourists, mixers and sound designers are passionate about film and on hand to discuss your artistic goals, whilst our production team are always happy to offer advice about cameras, workflows and new technologies. This year we have proudly worked on a number of the nominated films including Cats, The Aeronauts, Judy, The Souvenir, and The Personal History of David Copperfield. We are also currently posting Francis Lee’s forthcoming Ammonite.”  #BIFA2019
