Halo are back in Sheffield this June for the 25th International Documentary Festival. In our 4th year as a creative partner, we are looking forward to 6 days of mixing with key producers and directors, whilst enjoying some of the best documentary features and shorts the world has to offer. Alongside the many film premieres, there are panel talks and interviews with industry specialists such as Sir Trevor MacDonald, Guy Martin and Mary Beard, as well as many installations, exhibitions, events and of course plenty of parties.
Halo’s colourist, Katherine Jamieson will join the panel at the Craft Summit (Saturday, 12:00) to talk about the art of grading and to look at the creative process behind the extraordinary ‘America / Australia In Colour’, where new technologies and techniques have conspired to bring this fascinating archive series to life in a way never seen before.
