Halo Post Unwrapped Returns!

On Thursday evening halo opened its doors to clients with the return of Post Unwrapped. The subject matter was Remote and Hybrid: The flexible future of the edit.

Halo’s team Will Garbutt (Commercial Director), Toby Roberton (Head of Edit Operations) and Louisa Sutherland-Smith (Head of Production) talked clients through our services that combine both traditional inhouse and remote services.

Our first Post Unwrapped event since the ease of the pandemic restrictions explored editorial innovations; the options for hybrid working, logistics of how they work, maintaining security and the budgeting implications.

There was excellent attendance of both old and new clients who enjoyed post talk evening drinks on our Dean St roof terrace.
Special thanks goes to Kathryn Robinson (halo Front of House) who organized invites and logistics for the event.

Toby Roberton (Head of Edit Operations) said…’It was great to meet some of our clients face to face to run through the changes that have been happening over the last couple of years and to demystify all these new terms and practices that are sweeping the industry.

These sessions are a great opportunity to pull back the curtain a little bit on the technical developments, of which there have been many, since the global pandemic struck. After all, it has forced an entirely new way of working for many editors, edit producers and directors and people have a lot of questions about the implications of these new methods which we were glad to answer.

We have been essentially recreating the edit suite experience from remote and separate locations, so it’s important that the people making the bookings are clear on what solutions and flexibility we can offer. Roll on the next one!’
