My Friend Misty – Series 2

The second series of My Friend Misty has landed – with ten brand new episodes.

The animated and live-action hybrid is executive produced by Fearne Cotton and Ian Holt (CTVC) and sees colourful and magical Misty help children navigate everyday situations – teaching them brilliant tips to stay calm and strategies that will help them move forward. Whether it’s feeling nervous about going to the dentist, arguing with their best friend, or getting their haircut, the series highlights that children have worries too. Fortunately Misty, voiced by Daisy Haggard (Breeders, Back to Life), is on hand to help. She pops up with surprise visits in each episode to help and inspire kids, with a sprinkle of mischief along the way.

Colourist Karl Barnes-Dallas said “It was a joy to work on this project and the producers were really communicative of what they wanted. All episodes offered lots of playful colours for us to bring out vibrancy and fun, which you would only get in a kids world when married up with charming lovely coloured animation – supplied in a simple yet efficient workflow.

Halo were super proud to be involved in making this fun series with the brilliant CTVC and the incredibly talented team at +3K (on animation).
Series Producer Chantal Delaney said “Everyone at halo was so friendly and accommodating. We also found them to be technically brilliant, working really well with our animation house. I was particularly impressed by the sound design team, they put such creativity into what they did, totally understanding our programme and offering up some brilliant ideas. Despite a tight schedule, our series was delivered on time too. Thanks so much team halo.

Halo provided full picture and sound post production.
